Classification Of CNC Machining Centers

Machining center is a kind of CNC machine tool that can complete machining of various parts, and its performance and precision grade have an important influence on machining efficiency and machining quality. According to the GB/T17424.1-2015 standard, the machining center can be divided into the following five grades:

 

1. General machining center: suitable for parts processing accuracy requirements of the general situation, the maximum positioning accuracy of 0.015 ~ 0.02mm;

2. Middle and high-end machining center: suitable for high-precision machining, the maximum positioning accuracy is 0.008 ~ 0.012mm;

3. High-speed machining center: suitable for high-speed cutting, the maximum speed can reach 20000 RPM or more;

4. Ultra-precision machining center: suitable for ultra-high precision machining, the maximum positioning accuracy is 0.002 ~ 0.004mm;

5. Multi-axis machining center: suitable for the need to achieve multi-axis machining, can achieve more than five axes of processing.

 

Different grades of machining centers are suitable for different processing requirements and fields. General machining center is suitable for mechanical processing, electronic precision processing, mold processing, auto parts processing and other fields; The middle and high grade machining center is suitable for high-precision fields such as aviation, aerospace, weapons, shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical industry, etc. High speed machining center is suitable for high speed machining field; The ultra-precision machining center is suitable for optical technology, medical equipment, microelectronics and other ultra-precision fields; Multi-axis machining center is suitable for complex surface machining, complex parts combination machining and other fields.
